Dartmouth’s undergraduate admissions process is separate and independent from Dartmouth Precollege programs. Participation in Dartmouth Precollege programs does not affect your admissibility for Dartmouth Undergraduate Admissions.  For information regarding Dartmouth Undergraduate Admissions, please visit admissions.dartmouth.edu

If you choose to include your Dartmouth Precollege experience in any college application, we encourage you to consider reflecting on your experience with Dartmouth Precollege, and how you felt you learned, grew, and developed your talents and curiosity during your time with us.

Applicants from families of Dartmouth alums do not receive any preferential treatment in the application process. 

  • Dartmouth Precollege Summer Scholars: This program is open to rising 10th, 11th, and 12th graders (ages 15-18). Students must have completed 9th grade and not graduated from high school. We offer on-campus residential, commuter, and hybrid options for U.S., international, and homeschooled students.
  • Dartmouth Precollege Online: This program is designed for students ages 13 and older, including U.S., international, and homeschooled students.
